She is interested in taking a person-centred approach to formulation and intervention. She believes each client is unique and aims to develop in-depth understanding of their individual needs. She can deliver therapeutic interventions involving children, young people, and their caregivers. Jemila is influenced by a range of approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, therapeutic story writing, brief solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Jemila is trained in Triple P Positive Parenting and is a registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. Jemila can provide professional supervision to Psychologists working in an Educational/School Psychology capacity.
